The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department supports people affected by storm No. 10.

Over the past two months, Nghe An has been continuously affected by three major storms. The situation of "storm on storm" has made all activities of local authorities and the lives of people in disaster-hit areas extremely difficult. In particular, storm No. 10, which had a long impact and a wide range of influence, has caused extremely heavy damage throughout the coastal, delta, midland and mountainous communes and wards of the province. Tens of thousands of houses had their roofs blown off, swept away, and collapsed; crops and livestock were swept away, roads were cut off, and many residential areas were still submerged in floodwaters.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department shared: "More than ever, we - those who work in the Party and mass mobilization, must be the pioneers in the spirit of sharing, spreading humanity, helping people in flood-affected areas to quickly overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. Each heart today is not only material support, but also encouragement, the warmth of compatriots' love sent to the eye of the storm".

Responding to the call, all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department voluntarily contributed at least one day's salary. The donated money will be transferred to the Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Relief Committee, promptly supporting localities to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, helping people to soon stabilize their lives and restore production.

The activities to support people in storm-hit areas are a concrete manifestation of the spirit of solidarity, social responsibility and revolutionary ethics among the staff and party members of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department. Thereby, continuing to spread profound humanistic values, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the Party's leadership, cultivating the great national unity bloc, together overcoming difficulties, towards sustainable development.
