The final matches of V-League 2023 - 2024 took place simultaneously at 5:00 p.m. today (June 30), with a satisfying ending for the races at both ends of the rankings.
After Nam Dinh FC was crowned champion 1 round early, the runner-up and third place positions were both taken in round 26. Binh Dinh FC excellently defeated Hanoi Police FC (CAHN CLUB) with a score of 4-1 to win the runner-up position with 47 points. In the final match, despite having all their key players on the field, Nam Dinh still easily defeated Quang Nam team at Hoa Xuan Stadium with a score of 3-1.
Meanwhile, Hanoi FC created a "rain of goals" match against Binh Duong , when the two teams tied 3-3. In the end, coach Daiki Iwamasa's team had 43 points, finishing third overall.

Ho Chi Minh City FC defeated Khanh Hoa FC (relegated) 1-0 at 19/8 Stadium to climb to 4th place, pushing The Cong Viettel down to 5th place. This is also the best ranking of Ho Chi Minh City FC in V-League since the 2019 season, when coach Chung Hae-seong helped the players win the runner-up position. The 6th, 7th, 8th places belong to CAHN FC, Hai Phong FC and Binh Duong FC respectively.
Tension was on in the relegation race. LPBank HAGL came from behind to defeat Hai Phong 2-1 to get 32 points overall, thereby ranking 11th, staying in the V-League. SLNA Club also had a spectacular escape when they beat The Cong Viettel away with a score of 2-0.
Final rankings
The most regrettable was Ha Tinh FC when they tied 0-0 with Thanh Hoa, even though coach Nguyen Thanh Cong and his team played at home and had one more player. SLNA and Ha Tinh have the same 30 points, the same head-to-head record (1-1 draw both home and away), but the Nghe An team ranked above Ha Tinh due to a better goal difference.
Thus, Ha Tinh will play a play-off with PVF-CAND to compete for a ticket to stay in V-League next season, while Khanh Hoa will be relegated.
Prizes: Nam Dinh team won the championship and was awarded 5 billion VND by VPF. Binh Dinh team, runner-up, was awarded 3 billion VND. Hanoi team, third place, was awarded 1.5 billion VND.
The top scorer was Rafealson of Nam Dinh with 31 goals.
The award gala will be held by VPF on July 9 in Hanoi.
