Dear delegates and public!
Under the leadership of the Party, the care and guidance of President Ho Chi Minh and the trust and support of the people, the Vietnamese revolutionary press has always been closely associated with and accompanied the national revolutionary cause.
In the historical periods of the country since the Party was founded, the revolutionary press has always been the leading force, the sharp spiritual weapon of the Party and State on the ideological and cultural front, and the forum of the people, making great contributions to the revolutionary cause.
Generations of revolutionary journalists deserve to be the vanguard soldiers on the ideological and cultural front, as President Ho Chi Minh taught journalists: “Journalists are also revolutionary soldiers. Pens and paper are their sharp weapons.”
The Party, the State and the people highly appreciate the role, achievements and great contributions of the press over the past nearly a century. The achievements of the Vietnamese revolutionary press today were built by the intelligence, efforts and even the blood of many generations of journalists over nearly a century.

On the occasion of the 98th anniversary of Vietnam's revolutionary press, we would like to bow our heads in gratitude and remembrance of President Ho Chi Minh, our predecessors and martyr journalists who heroically sacrificed for the Fatherland!
Continuing that tradition, in the context of the rapid development of digital technology and changes in the way users receive information, the country's press has always maintained its role as a vanguard force on the ideological and cultural front; maintained its role as a non-stop official and mainstream information stream; effectively propagated the correct guidelines and policies of the Party and State; been the voice of the people, and a bridge between the Party, State and people.
The press nationwide has been striving to overcome difficulties and challenges, continuing to proactively innovate delivery methods, bringing new experiences to readers through digital technology applications.
Digital transformation of Vietnamese press has a strong impact on the entire national press system, both in terms of professionalism, State management as well as journalism training and research. Therefore, more than ever, journalists, especially heads of press agencies and Journalists Associations at all levels, need to promote the fine traditions of Vietnamese revolutionary press: steadfast in political will, loyal to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the Fatherland and the nation, innovative, creative and proactive in international integration.
With a team of more than 24,000 members, covering all types of traditional and modern journalism, we are proud to have a developed press, worthy of the trust of the Party and the people.
Dear comrades and colleagues!

In 2022, the press has reported quickly, accurately, and comprehensively on all developments in life, politics, economics, and society both domestically and internationally, and has been a large and trustworthy forum for the people. The press has shown innovation in the way of expression, proposing many constructive solutions and good ways of doing things that have spread and influenced society.
