Vietnam Law Newspaper organized the inauguration ceremony of Rach Dau Bridge in Mo Cay Bac district, Ben Tre province.

(CLO) On January 9, at Tan Hung hamlet, Khanh Thanh Tan commune (Mo Cay Bac district, Ben Tre province), Vietnam Law Newspaper coordinated with the People's Committee of Mo Cay Bac district to inaugurate Vietnam Law Bridge (Rach Dau Bridge).

Accordingly, Vietnam Law Newspaper responded and mobilized social resources to sponsor the construction of Vietnam Law Bridge (Rach Dau Bridge) in Tan Hung Hamlet, Khanh Thanh Tan Commune (Mo Cay Bac District, Ben Tre Province). The bridge is 25m long and 3.3m wide and started construction in December 2024. The total construction cost is more than 265 million VND, of which Vietnam Law Newspaper mobilized 240 million VND in sponsorship, the rest was contributed by the people.

Previously, Rach Dau Bridge was small in width and seriously degraded, making it difficult for people to travel; as well as potentially dangerous for people, especially children. In addition, people's lives were difficult, their incomes were low, so they could not afford to invest in construction themselves.

Journalist Tran Ngoc Ha - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Law Newspaper shared: "In addition to professional journalistic work, Vietnam Law Newspaper is very interested in social security and charity work. The fundraising for the bridge construction shows the heart of the people working at Vietnam Law Newspaper, who want to share and help people in Ben Tre."
