(DN) - On the afternoon of August 8, the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee held a conference to disseminate and implement Directive 24-CT/TW dated July 13, 2023 of the Politburo on firmly ensuring national security (ANQG) in the context of comprehensive and extensive international integration; Directive 23-CT/TW dated May 25, 2023 of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership in ensuring traffic order and safety (ATGT) in the new situation and Resolution No. 01-NQ/TU dated May 22, 2023 of the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee on strengthening the leadership of Party committees and Party organizations at all levels in building the Dong Nai Provincial Police to be truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Son suggested that, in order to effectively implement the above directives and resolutions, Party committees at all levels from the province to the grassroots level must thoroughly educate cadres and Party members to fully understand the position, role and importance of national security protection as an important and regular task of the entire Party, people and army; in which the police and military forces are the core and vanguard.

Party committees from the provincial to grassroots levels must clearly realize that protecting national security is the responsibility and obligation of the entire political system and the entire population, and must be carried out regularly and continuously, without being caught off guard in any situation.

The task of protecting national security is under the absolute and direct leadership in all aspects of the Party, the unified and centralized management of the State, the synchronous and effective coordination of the entire political system and the active participation of the people.

Party committees and organizations at all levels review and supplement regulations, rules and procedures to specify the leadership methods of the Provincial Party Committee, the management of the Provincial People's Committee and the supervision of the people over the Provincial Police force, thereby ensuring the direct and absolute leadership in all aspects of Party committees at all levels over the Provincial, district and commune-level Police force.
