On September 5, at Lao Cai General Hospital No. 4 (former Sa Pa Town General Hospital), a signing ceremony of a professional cooperation agreement between Lao Cai General Hospital No. 1 and Lao Cai General Hospital No. 4 took place.

At the signing ceremony, Lao Cai General Hospital No. 4 briefly reported on its professional activities; delegates exchanged and discussed the needs and contents of professional support for General Hospital No. 4 and agreed on the content of cooperation and support.

Lao Cai General Hospital No. 4 proposed Lao Cai General Hospital No. 1 to cooperate and support some contents, such as: guiding the organization of technical transfer training through online consultation, on-site training of some emergency techniques (including thrombolysis in cerebral stroke, first aid, transporting cardiovascular stroke patients, online HDF dialysis...); supporting drug management - dispensing drugs according to QR codes and supporting in management, improving hospital quality (sharing quality management processes and social work, customer care); supporting the implementation of electronic medical records and information technology systems at the hospital.

According to the cooperation agreement, Lao Cai General Hospital No. 1 will provide comprehensive support to General Hospital No. 4 in terms of expertise, technology, human resource training... contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment at the hospital, helping people in the Sa Pa area enjoy more advanced medical services.

The cooperation agreement between the two hospitals marks the close and comprehensive connection between the two medical units after the merger.
