On the afternoon of September 29, Quang Ngai General Hospital held a ceremony to announce the completion and putting into use of electronic medical records, marking an important step forward in medical management and treatment, bringing many practical benefits to patients and doctors.

The Provincial General Hospital currently has 38 departments and rooms with a capacity of more than 1,000 beds. On average, the hospital receives and treats nearly 2,000 patients per day. Applying electronic medical records throughout the system is a great effort, demonstrating the hospital's determination to improve service quality, moving towards a comprehensive digital healthcare system. Electronic medical records bring many benefits to patients such as: no need to bring a lot of documents when going to the clinic, test indicators, periodic health check-up results are fully stored, easy to look up and compare. For doctors, electronic medical records help save time looking up records, limit duplicate tests, support more accurate diagnosis and improve treatment quality.
