Provincial Party Secretary Le Quang Tung receives citizens

Today, December 14, Party Central Committee member, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Le Quang Tung chaired a regular citizen reception session at the Provincial Citizen Reception Office. Attending the reception were representatives of leaders of Party committees, departments and branches.

At the Provincial Citizen Reception Office, there were 5 cases of citizens registering to present petitions and feedback related to many areas of social life. The cases with petitions include: Tran Vinh Tung and Duong Thi Lan, in Nam Son village, Trung Giang commune, Gio Linh district, petitioning for compensation and support for the implementation of the Trung Giang Commune Community Beach Project, Gio Linh district; Phan Van Hieu, in Ha Trung village, Gio Chau commune, Gio Linh district, petitioning about land; Nguyen Thi Hanh, in Ho Xa town, Vinh Linh district, petitioning about land; Hoang Xuan Lam, in Gio Linh town, denounced party members.

Through review, the above cases do not fall under the category of citizen reception by the Provincial Party Secretary and are being directed by the Provincial People's Committee to the departments, branches, and Gio Linh district to inspect, verify, and resolve.

In particular, Mr. Hoang Xuan Lam's case is a case of receiving citizens by the Provincial Party Secretary according to Regulation No. 11-QDi/TW of the Politburo and Regulation No. 33-QDi/TU of the Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee. Mr. Hoang Xuan Lam accused Party member Nguyen Huu Tai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Gio Linh town of violations in land management such as not complying with Conclusion 115 of the Provincial Party Committee, granting land to the wrong subjects, and confirming land clearance records not in accordance with regulations.

Based on the citizen's complaint, Provincial Party Secretary and Head of the National Assembly Delegation Le Quang Tung acknowledged the feedback and requested the representative of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee to report in detail the content of the handling process. Due to the complexity of the case, it is requested that the specialized inspectorate on land management get involved to inspect, verify, and strictly handle any violations by the Party and the government.

In addition, it is recommended that departments, branches, sectors and localities actively coordinate in handling recommendations and feedback, and at the same time pay attention to reviewing each case to advise the Provincial People's Committee to resolve issues within its authority and direct localities and units to implement to ensure citizens' rights.
