BIDVRUN 2023 - BIDV MetLife trains to share

The launching ceremony was held at two locations in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City along with 20 locations in provinces and cities nationwide, attracting nearly 35,000 athletes to participate.

Senior Vice President of Asia (in charge of Vietnam market) Elena Butarova was excited at the Launching Ceremony of BIDVRUN - Warm Tet for the poor in the Spring of Giap Thin 2024.

After 5 years of implementation, the "Warm Tet for the Poor" Runs have attracted nearly 300,000 athletes to participate, recording nearly 16 million km of running achievements converted into nearly 60 billion VND in contributions to implement green social security programs, towards sustainable development.

This source of funding contributed significantly to bringing nearly 300,000 Tet gifts to poor people and soldiers in border and island areas; more than 330,000 new trees were planted in many localities across the country; a chain of 13 community cultural houses to avoid floods were built and donated in the Central provinces; more than 14,000 freshwater tanks helped poor people in the Mekong Delta provinces have enough fresh water during the drought and salinity season...

On the first morning of the race, 35,000 athletes ran nearly 100,000 km, equivalent to 500 million VND raised for the Poor Fund.

The race, which takes place over 22 consecutive days (November 12 - December 3, 2023), will be a journey marking the spirit of overcoming oneself and persevering on the race track with the ultimate goal of contributing from 1,000 VND - 5,000 VND for every 1km run (depending on the time of applying the event programs according to the rules).
