Viksit Bharat 2025 - A race to honor the spirit of dedication and collective responsibility

The Embassy of India in Vietnam in collaboration with MY Bharat under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of India will organize the Viksit Bharat 2025 Run on September 28 at Thong Nhat Park.

Viksit Bharat 2025 was held for the first time in Hanoi and more than 150 cities around the world with the theme “Run to serve the nation ”.

The Viksit Bharat 2025 Run is part of the Seva Pakhwada program, also known as Seva Parv (Celebrating the Spirit of Dedication), a half-month-long initiative (September 17 – October 2) to honor the spirit of dedication, responsibility and collective effort, demonstrating the spirit of serving the community.

During this time, many activities are organized in India and other countries to promote social responsibility, civic engagement and community service.

The Viksit Bharat Run 2025, the main highlight of this year’s Seva Pakhwada, will be held in over 150 cities around the world under the theme “Run to Serve the Nation . The initiative coincides with the 75th birth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi (September 17, 1950-September 17, 2025), and reaffirms the Indian Prime Minister’s vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 (Developing India 2047).

MY Bharat is an initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of India to empower India's youth through social development, educational equity and practical skilling.

The event will include a community run of about 2–3 km, with the participation of the host country’s citizens and the Indian community. Participants will come together to share the message of “Developing India” and “Self-Reliant India”, demonstrating their determination to work towards a developed and self-reliant India.

The initiative is part of the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam (Planting for Mother Earth) campaign to demonstrate environmental responsibility and sustainability. The celebrations also included cultural performances by members of the Indian community, showcasing the development journey of the country of the Ganges under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Embassy of India in Vietnam cordially invites the entire Indian community, friends of India, local people and all residents of Hanoi to actively participate, be proud of their heritage and spread the spirit of dedication and self-reliance of India across the world.

Participation in this initiative not only contributes to India's development, but also strengthens solidarity with the Indian community globally, forming a network of support, inspiration and shared common goals.
