Pham Thoai's personal account posted an article and video announcing that he was selected as an ambassador for the program "Top agricultural products - Agricultural products to the city (VIETNAM OCOPEX 2025)". According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade , this is false information.
On July 31, the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) issued Document No. 2425 to media agencies regarding information related to the Fair of OCOP export products (VIETNAM OCOPEX 2025).
According to the document, this is a trade promotion event within the framework of the National Trade Promotion Program chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , Hanoi People's Committee and the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.
The fair will take place at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, 19C Hoang Dieu, Hanoi , from August 1 to 3. The event is hosted by the Trade Promotion Agency, in coordination with the Central Office for New Rural Development Coordination and the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade.
The Trade Promotion Agency said that there is currently a lot of information on social networks about the appointment of ambassadors for the program. However, this agency affirmed that up to now, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has not appointed/used any individual as ambassador of the program and has not allowed any coordinating agency or organization to do the above.
This announcement was made after Pham Thoai's personal account, who has more than 895,000 followers, posted an article and video announcing that he was selected as an ambassador for the program "Top agricultural products - Agricultural products to the city (VIETNAM OCOPEX 2025)".
