Ministry of Education and Training notes career education and orientation for the 2025-2026 school year

GD&TĐ - The implementation of career guidance education is noted by the Ministry of Education and Training in the guidelines for implementing tasks for the 2025-2026 school year with general education.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Education and Training requested the Departments of Education and Training to effectively direct the innovation of content, methods and forms of organizing career education in general education institutions in the direction of developing students' capacity, ensuring that it is linked to the requirements of local socio-economic development and the practical needs of the labor market.

Educational institutions develop flexible career guidance plans that are suitable to the psychological characteristics, needs, and abilities of students and the teaching and learning conditions of each educational institution.

Strengthen the organization of creative and practical experience activities. Actively integrate career education content into subjects and educational activities according to the general education program. Encourage students to learn and explore careers through the STEM/STEAM education model, clubs, and career counseling forums at school.

The Ministry of Education and Training also emphasized the need to strengthen and develop the team of teachers who are also career counselors, ensuring that they are sufficient in number, have appropriate expertise, and are regularly trained. Organize training and improve the capacity of management staff and teachers in counseling skills and career orientation for students.

Strengthen coordination between schools and organizations, individuals, businesses, job service centers and vocational education institutions to build a comprehensive, practical and effective career education support ecosystem.

Strengthen communication work, provide information on the labor market and training professions to support students in choosing careers, orienting appropriate streams after junior high school and high school, contributing to improving the quality of human resources and sustainable development of local resources.
