Comprehensive education of "Virtue - Intelligence - Body - Beauty" today is no longer a familiar slogan, but needs to be implemented as a living ecosystem, permeating every lesson, every activity and every relationship in school.

First of all, moral education must be integrated into all subjects and activities, not just limited to Civic Education hours. Teachers can incorporate situations that cultivate character, responsibility, honesty and compassion into their lessons: a practical math problem that inspires the spirit of thrift, a text that teaches kindness. More importantly, teachers are living examples for students to follow.

In addition, students need to have practical experiences: working in groups, implementing community projects, participating in volunteer activities... to learn how to choose, face and take responsibility for their own decisions. Only when "learning ethics through action" can their personality be truly and sustainably shaped.

With “Wisdom”, instead of cramming knowledge, schools should aim to foster independent, creative and critical thinking skills. Interdisciplinary lessons, scientific research projects, and even life situations brought into the classroom will help students see that knowledge is not a burden, but the key to open new doors.

Physical education must go beyond fixed physical education classes. Schools need to inspire sportsmanship , build a “culture of movement” as a habit of life, through mass sports, internal tournaments, and training in diverse motor skills. Only when students are healthy can they have a solid foundation for learning, creativity, and dedication.

For aesthetic education, it should not be considered as a “secondary” part, but an important piece that forms a comprehensive personality. Art is not a “decoration” part but a spiritual nourishment. Music, fine arts, school theater or talent clubs are where students learn to feel, vibrate, and from there form a balance in the soul.

It is important that these four pillars cannot be implemented separately but must be intertwined and support each other. A learning project can both train intelligence and nurture morality, while combining physical activity and artistic creativity. When Morality - Intelligence - Body - Beauty are combined, students can truly develop comprehensively and harmoniously.

Finally, family - school - society need to be seen as three concentric circles. Family sows seeds, school nurtures, society creates the environment for seeds to germinate. When all three work together, students not only "learn to know" but also "learn to live beautifully, healthily and usefully". At that time, Morality - Intelligence - Fitness - Beauty is no longer a slogan, but becomes the breath in every step of maturity of the young generation.

To realize the goal of comprehensive education, four factors: Program, teaching methods, facilities and teaching staff are all important and need to be innovated synchronously. However, if we have to determine the top priority, the teaching staff is the key, the decisive factor for all innovations to come into practice.

No matter how advanced a program is, how modern the facilities are, if there are no dedicated teachers with vision and creative application, all will remain on paper. On the contrary, even in limited conditions, a good teacher can still inspire, turn dry knowledge into vivid experiences, and instill in students the spirit of lifelong learning.

Comprehensive educational innovation is not just about changing textbooks or building more smart classrooms, but at its core is about changing the way of teaching and learning. It is teachers who make this innovation a reality through each class hour, each experiential activity, each word of encouragement for students. They are both the ones who “transfer knowledge”, “open up personality”, and at the same time “companion” in the journey of student growth.

The 2018 General Education Program aims to comprehensively develop students in terms of "Morality - Intelligence - Fitness - Aesthetics", and schools have concretized this goal into educational development plans for each stage and school year. In recent times, many schools have focused on preparing facilities, improving the capacity of teaching staff; at the same time, building educational content and methods towards comprehensively developing students' qualities and abilities, suitable to the individual characteristics of each student.

To achieve the goal of comprehensive education, it is necessary to synchronously deploy many solutions: from clearly defining goals, raising awareness of the position and importance of comprehensive education, to fully preparing human resources, material resources and effectively implementing educational programs and plans in schools. At the same time, close coordination between family - school - society in extracurricular activities, experiences, physical and aesthetic also plays a key role, helping students move from awareness to practice the elements of Morality - Intelligence - Physicality - Aesthetics in a lively way.

In this system of solutions, it is especially important to pay attention to the quality of the teaching staff and to innovate teaching methods. Because no matter how modern the facilities are, if there are not enough teachers with enough ability, qualifications and creativity in organizing teaching, the program will hardly be effective. On the contrary, good teachers can still inspire, turn dry knowledge into vivid experiences, and play an important role in forming a generation of students with comprehensive development.

Vietnamese education aims to train people to develop comprehensively, harmoniously combining traditional values ​​and modern quintessence, aiming to form citizens who are not only useful to themselves and their families but also contribute positively to society.

To realize this goal, the education sector and schools not only focus on teaching knowledge but also build many extracurricular activities and creative experiences, helping students discover their own abilities, talents and strengths, thereby orienting their studies and choosing a career that suits their abilities.

Specifically, in addition to improving the quality of teaching and learning, schools need to create a healthy learning environment, nurturing students' lifestyle and ethics. Practical experiences such as visiting historical sites, cultural works, and scenic spots help students understand more deeply about the origins and cultural values ​​of the nation.

Sports, cultural and artistic clubs, youth volunteer groups or charity programs not only bring joy, but also form social skills, solidarity and mutual support. Praising and introducing good people and good deeds is also a way for students to learn positive values, thereby forming personality and sense of responsibility.

The cooperation of family, school and society plays a decisive role in educating and shaping students' personalities. Implementing comprehensive education of “Virtue - Intelligence - Body - Beauty” not only requires focusing on subjects but also must spread to all educational activities, from practical experiences, talent - art club activities, to close coordination between family, school and society. During holidays and Tet, students have the opportunity to learn about traditions, work in groups, practice presentation skills, and demonstrate their abilities.

In addition, volunteer activities such as helping disabled friends move, guiding classmates, playing together during recess, donating to support disadvantaged students, etc. contribute to nurturing a beautiful lifestyle from simple actions, sowing the seeds of kindness, helping children grow up to become responsible citizens who know how to love and contribute to the community.

Innovation in curriculum, methods and facilities is indispensable, but all of these can only truly develop their value when they have the hands, hearts and minds of teachers.
