Attending the survey were Major General Nguyen Van Xuan, Deputy Commander of Military Region 2, along with representatives of functional agencies under the General Staff, General Department of Logistics and Technology and production units under the General Department of Defense Industry.

The main objective of the survey is to assess the actual quality of weapons and technical equipment at the unit, thereby providing a basis for analysis and proposing solutions to improve the effectiveness of weapons and technical equipment for the Army.

The Ministry of National Defense 's survey team inspected the status of weapons and technical equipment at Regiment 148 (Division 316, Military Region 2).

According to a summary report from Division 316, weapons and technical equipment produced by the Vietnamese defense industry generally have many outstanding advantages. The products have a compact structure, high industrial aesthetics, and are especially suitable for Vietnam's climate conditions. The report also frankly pointed out a number of limitations that need to be overcome.

Concluding the survey, Major General Duong Van Yen acknowledged and highly appreciated the responsible and frank comments of officers and soldiers of Military Region 2 as well as Division 316. These assessments are an important basis for the General Department of Defense Industry and production units to absorb and overcome in order to improve product quality.

Working scene.

The Deputy Director of the General Department of Defense Industry requested that the units under the General Department need to closely coordinate with agencies and units throughout the army to continue researching, producing, repairing and improving weapons and technical equipment. In particular, it is necessary to focus on modernizing technology and mastering the production process to meet the requirements and tasks of training and combat readiness.
