This is a modern retail model combined in the traditional postal space, aiming to realize the development orientation of Vietnam Post's service points to become "Multi-function Service Centers", bringing maximum convenience to customers.
The new stores are located in central areas with high population density, convenient for transportation and transactions. Here, customers can shop for essential goods and use postal delivery services, postal finance, public administration, etc. right at one service point.

At each point, there will be about 2,000 essential consumer products, from food, cosmetics to household goods, textiles... All products are selected from more than 130 reputable suppliers, ensuring the origin and quality of goods at reasonable prices, publicly listed.
According to the representative of the Retail Distribution Business Management Board (Vietnam Post), the development of the "Postal Department Store" model is one of the new directions of Vietnam Post in improving operational efficiency, from a traditional delivery business to a multi-purpose service.

This model not only improves the efficiency of the public postal network, but also contributes to facilitating people's access to essential services and goods, promoting domestic consumption and developing the local economy . Vietnam Post hopes that this will be a reliable, close and familiar destination for every family.
According to the plan, by the end of 2025, Vietnam Post will put into operation 200 "Postal Department Stores" nationwide, forming a widespread retail network linked to a system of service points from urban to rural areas.
