Ca Mau fireworks to celebrate the province's merger event

(PLVN) - On June 23, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued a document agreeing with the proposal of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province on organizing fireworks displays at the TV art program to celebrate the unification of Ca Mau province.

The fireworks display will take place at 9:00 p.m. on June 30, 2025 at two locations: Hung Vuong Square (Ward 1, Bac Lieu City, Bac Lieu Province) and Ward 5 Park (Ca Mau City, Ca Mau Province). Each location will fire 120 fireworks, with a duration of no more than 15 minutes.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires that the organization of fireworks displays must strictly comply with the regulations in Decree No. 137/2020/ND-CP and Decree No. 56/2023/ND-CP of the Government, ensuring absolute safety, maintaining security and order in the organization area.

The People's Committee of Ca Mau province is responsible for organizing the implementation in accordance with regulations and reporting the results to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense after the program ends.

Fireworks display to celebrate the merger of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu provinces.

Previously, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province issued an Official Dispatch to relevant agencies and units regarding the organization of activities to celebrate the merger of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu provinces. This is a special political and administrative event of great significance to the people of the two provinces, expected to create a new atmosphere and new driving force in the next stage of development.

Under the direction of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province was assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Lieu province to complete the script for the art program, design the stage and prepare conditions for organizing the event at two locations: Hung Vuong Square (Bac Lieu city) and Ward 5 Square, Tran Hung Dao street (Ca Mau city). At the same time, coordinate with the Newspapers, Radio and Television of the two provinces to develop a script for a television bridge connecting Ca Mau - Bac Lieu, and organize fireworks displays to celebrate the event.

Propaganda and visual promotion activities in the two provinces will be deployed synchronously, before, during and after the event, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life. In addition, cultural, sports, entertainment and recreation activities will also be widely organized to spread the spirit of solidarity and pride in the event of unifying the two provinces.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province also requested the Propaganda Department and the Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee to study and issue propaganda slogans to orient public opinion; assign the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department to preside over and coordinate the organization of delegations to visit and pay tribute to veteran revolutionary cadres, pre-uprising cadres, and former leaders of Minh Hai province, Ca Mau province, and Bac Lieu province through the periods.

In addition, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province requested Ca Mau Newspaper and Radio - Television Station to preside over the production of documentary films reflecting the formation, development and contributions of the two localities; coordinate with relevant units to ensure the quality of content and live television techniques to serve the people.

Regarding the work of ensuring security, order and organizing fireworks displays, the Military Command of Ca Mau province was assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Military Command of Bac Lieu province to survey the location, design techniques, arrange forces to implement, ensure safety and comply with regulations. The Police of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu provinces coordinated to develop a detailed plan to ensure security, order and traffic safety at the locations.

Organizing activities to celebrate the unification event not only has profound political and cultural significance but also contributes to creating momentum for the socio-economic development process of Ca Mau province in the coming time.
