The Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau has just issued an urgent dispatch requesting Nguyen Viet Khai High School (Ca Mau) to rectify the review and arrangement of teachers to avoid causing confusion and creating negative public opinion internally.

On September 29, according to Thanh Nien reporter's source, the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau issued an urgent dispatch to the Principal of Nguyen Viet Khai High School requesting to rectify the process of reviewing and arranging teachers after receiving feedback about inappropriate implementation.

Previously, the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau received a report that Nguyen Viet Khai High School held a meeting to consider surplus or shortage of teachers, which did not comply with the direction of the department in Official Dispatch No. 3996 (issued on September 16). This method was assessed to cause insecurity for some teachers in the arrangement, creating negative public opinion in the pedagogical community.

In the new dispatch, the Department of Education and Training requested Mr. Doan Ngoc Be, Principal of Nguyen Viet Khai High School, to coordinate with organizations and unions in the school to thoroughly implement the arrangement policy, ensuring publicity, transparency and compliance with regulations. The implementation process must take into account the specific circumstances of each teacher, and encourage voluntary transfer to create consensus and solidarity. The records and review results must be reported to the department before the end of September.

Previously, Official Dispatch 3996 of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau clearly stipulated the principles for arranging surplus or shortage of teachers in the 2025-2026 school year, ensuring fairness, objectivity, conformity with the subject structure, staffing standards and training expertise. The document also stated priority criteria, including encouraging qualified teachers who have been assessed to have completed their tasks well for many consecutive years, while also considering factors such as household registration, seniority, and personal circumstances when arranging transfers.

However, when the Board of Directors of Nguyen Viet Khai High School implemented the plan, some teachers said that the method did not reflect the spirit of this directive. The leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau said that the timely correction would help stabilize the team's mentality, while ensuring that the arrangement of teachers was carried out in accordance with regulations, transparently and without affecting teaching and learning activities.
