In the last 6 months of 2023, the situation of mass associations was basically stable, internally united, well performing assigned functions and tasks, actively contributing to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security, foreign affairs, Party building and the political system, consolidating and promoting the tradition and strength of great national unity. The work of mobilizing social resources to support association activities and participate in social security work was also actively carried out.

Concluding the meeting, Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai emphasized that in the coming time, the associations need to focus on implementing a number of contents well. Specifically, the associations should strengthen the propaganda of the Party and State's guidelines and policies, the results of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the Association's term Congress; raise awareness and responsibility for cadres and members, create positive effects in the association system and spread widely to society.

Associations continue to creatively, resolutely and effectively organize the implementation of policies related to associations, especially the newly issued Regulations on the organization and operation of mass associations.

In addition, ensure the Party's leadership and state management of the association's organization and activities; regularly review, update, and supplement regulations and rules; perfect the organization and staff, especially the leadership bodies and heads of the association.
