TPO - To serve the Nhon - Hanoi railway station urban railway line, which will operate the elevated section from next July, Hanoi city is assigning the Department of Transport and Hanoi Parking Lot Exploitation Company Limited (Parking Lot Exploitation Company) to survey and arrange 10 parking lots near 8 elevated stations in the Nhon - Cau Giay section.

The scope assigned by the city to survey and arrange parking spots for train passengers is around elevated stations, parking spots/lots are only within a radius of 500 meters.

The elevated railway line, the 8.5km section from Nhon to Cau Giay, has 8 stations for passengers to access and connect to the train. Currently, there are 10 locations surveyed by the Department of Transport and the Hanoi Parking Lot Exploitation Company, and a list has been made for surveying and arranging parking lots to serve passengers.

At Cau Giay station (end of the elevated section), there are 3 locations surveyed and listed to arrange parking spots for train passengers, including the first parking spot: On La Thanh street - opposite the V-Tower building.

Second parking spot, on Cau Giay Street (section at the dead-end road at Voi Phuc intersection).

The third parking spot is located under Cau Giay station on Cau Giay street in front of University of Transport.

In addition, at the beginning of Kim Ma Street, the section under the railway approaching the S9 underground station is also being surveyed to arrange motorbike parking spots when the underground section is in operation.

At Chua Ha station, there are 2 locations surveyed to arrange parking lots: on Nguyen Phong Sac street (intersection with Cau Giay street) and Khuc Thua Du street (intersection with Cau Giay street).

The location of the sidewalk and roadway of Khuc Thua Du street, the intersection with Cau Giay street, was surveyed to plan the arrangement of a parking lot to serve Chua Ha station.

At the National University Station, two locations have been surveyed and listed as parking spots for train passengers: under Mai Dich Bridge and the median strip on Pham Hung Street - the section adjacent to Xuan Thuy Street (photo).

Mai Dich bridge is being renovated to serve the new traffic organization plan and arrange parking for train passengers.

10 parking spots were surveyed and arranged within a 500m radius of 8 Nhon - Hanoi metro stations to serve people traveling by train , including: Cau Giay parking spot (at the dead-end road at Voi Phuc intersection, Ngoc Khanh ward); La Thanh parking spot (opposite V-Tower building, Ngoc Khanh ward); parking spot under Mai Dich bridge (Mai Dich ward); parking spot on the traffic island at Mai Dich intersection.
