Traffic lights at the intersection in Minh Xuan ward need to be restored soon.

According to residents in the area, for more than a week now, the traffic light system at the intersection in Minh Xuan ward has stopped working.

Ms. Nguyen Minh Duc, Minh Xuan ward said: "I do business at Tam Co market so I often go through the intersection every day. Since there are no green or red lights, traveling is not as convenient as before. No lane stops at red lights so it is always crowded, no one gives way to anyone, sometimes the roundabout is overloaded, during rush hour I almost got into a collision."

The lack of traffic lights in this area makes it difficult for drivers to move, especially in heavy rain like the past few days. In some cases, people still stop to wait but the lights are not working.

Vehicles moving freely cause insecurity when there are no traffic lights at the intersection, Minh Xuan ward.

Mr. Mai Trong Phi, Minh Xuan Ward shared that traffic lights are very important in the central area. Obeying traffic lights has become a habit of the people. Therefore, when the lights stop working, it will greatly affect the ability to participate in traffic according to regulations.

The intersection area is also a high-density, complex traffic intersection. Authorities need to quickly fix the non-functioning traffic lights to ensure safe and convenient vehicle movement.
