Police raided 16 illegal car 'tuning' workshops in Dong Nai

Raiding 16 illegal car "tuning" workshops, Dong Nai police discovered a series of violations related to the manufacturing of vehicles for racing.

Today (November 3), Dong Nai Provincial Police informed that the Criminal Police Department coordinated with professional departments and local police to conduct a general inspection and handle vehicle "modification" workshops in the area.

Specifically, on the afternoon of November 1, the working groups simultaneously inspected 16 establishments that showed signs of "modifying" vehicles. The results discovered many locations that violated legal regulations and organized "illegal" activities.

Specifically, 9 establishments do not have a business license, 6 establishments violate fire prevention regulations and 6 establishments are "modifying" to serve illegal racing with 25 types of vehicles.

In particular, the authorities discovered many motorbikes without owners, and parts of unknown origin; there was even a facility equipped with soundproof rooms to check vehicle speed. Thereby, the working groups temporarily seized 57 motorbikes, 197 spare parts and many other exhibits.
