In Thuc Phan ward, Cao Bang province, the water level of Hien and Bang rivers rose to record highs, causing many houses and many roads along the river to be flooded.
Hop Giang Secondary School, 1/6 Kindergarten, Thuc Phan Ward, flood water flooded into the school, students had to stay home from school.

From 9:00 p.m. on September 29, Binh Long Hydropower Plant on Bang River announced that it would start releasing floodwaters. The large amount of water accumulated caused the river water level to rise.
Authorities have mobilized forces, been on standby, used inflatable boats and canoes to move people out of dangerous areas, and supported moving property to safety.

On some streets in Thuc Phan ward, cars and motorbikes were stuck and moving slowly due to the large number of people and vehicles concentrated on the main roads; on many riverside roads, authorities had put up ropes and banned traffic due to flooding.

Ms. Vu Thi Thai Bang, Party Secretary of Group 2 Hop Giang, Thuc Phan Ward, shared that in the group, there were 160 families that were flooded. During the night of September 29 and the morning of September 30, the military, police, and militia forces worked all night to help people respond to and overcome the consequences of the flood.

According to initial statistics, in Cao Bang province, 97 houses had their roofs blown off or damaged; nearly 100 hectares of corn and rice were flooded and damaged; many traffic routes were eroded and blocked, and many houses were flooded.
Currently, in Cao Bang, it is still raining heavily. In the face of complicated natural disasters, Cao Bang province has directed sectors and localities to increase on-duty response, inspection, prevention, and overcoming the consequences of floods and landslides; armed forces are on duty, helping people move out of dangerous areas and move assets to safety.
