Speaking at the meeting, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ho Dai Nam highly appreciated the positive contributions of news agencies in general and members of the Resident Reporters Club in Quang Tri in particular in actively reflecting diverse information in many fields of the locality in recent times.

Briefing on the outstanding results in 2023 and the province's key propaganda plan for 2024, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department emphasized that 2024 is a decisive breakthrough year to complete the 5-year plan (2021-2025), so Quang Tri province will focus on synchronously and drastically implementing the tasks and solutions set out in the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Therefore, in the coming time, it is recommended that resident reporters continue to pay more attention to researching the indicators and plans for Party building, socio-economic development, and ensuring national defense and security of the province in the 2020-2025 term to contribute ideas and help the province orient information that needs to be widely propagated and promoted, creating motivation for Quang Tri to complete the remaining tasks and plans in the final period of the term.

Pay attention to communication and promotion, attract investors, promote the province's driving projects; arouse the potential and advantages of the locality to develop tourism , especially community tourism in the West of Quang Tri.

The report at the meeting stated: In 2023, the Resident Reporters Club in Quang Tri increased contact and information exchange with agencies, units and localities in the province, helping Club members have more materials to write articles. Thousands of news and articles by resident reporters were published in the media, especially major events in the province.

The Club and its members have done many meaningful charity works such as: coordinating with Dakrong district and the Department of Education and Training to present 50 gifts to poor students at A Bung Primary and Secondary School and Ta Rut commune. At the Giap Thin Spring Newspaper Festival - 2024, the Club coordinated with Thien Duyen Quang Tri Charity Association to present 20 gifts to students in difficult circumstances in Vinh Linh district...

In 2024, in order for the activities of the Quang Tri Provincial Resident Reporters Club to go into depth and operate effectively, the Club recommends and proposes to the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Information and Communications, and the Vietnam Journalists Association of the province to continue to pay attention, support, and create favorable conditions for the Club to operate effectively.
