Fierce fire at pet care store in Ho Chi Minh City

(NLDO) - The fire started on the ground floor and then flared up fiercely.

At 10:40 p.m. on January 4, fire and smoke came out from the ground floor of Sam Sam Pet Care Shop on No Trang Long Street, Ward 14. This is a combination of residential and commercial premises.

Due to the flammable materials, the fire quickly engulfed the ground floor of the store. Seeing the fire, some people ran to try to put it out, but their efforts were ineffective.

Binh Thanh District Fire Police mobilized many fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene. The fire was brought under control later.

Witnesses said police were able to rescue some trapped people to safety. "An injured cat was also carried out," one resident said.
