Fire at stilt house in Tan Thanh village, Bang Hanh commune

At around 2:00 p.m. on September 6, in Tan Thanh village, Bang Hanh commune, a fire broke out, burning down the entire 4-room stilt house of Mr. Ma Van Phuong's family (born in 1973, household of 5 members).

Mr. Ma Van Phuong's family's stilt house was completely burned down.

The cause of the fire was determined to be an electrical short circuit. At the time of the fire, no one was home. In addition, the hot weather made the fire spread quickly, making it difficult to extinguish. The Bang Hanh Commune Civil Defense Command and local people were present to put out the fire, but the entire house, property, and rice were burned down, causing damage of over 150 million VND. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties.

Bang Hanh Commune Civil Defense Command participated in supporting the cleanup.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Party Committee and the authorities of Bang Hanh commune directly visited and encouraged; at the same time directed support in building temporary shelters and providing financial assistance to help Mr. Ma Van Phuong's family stabilize their lives soon.
