Investigation into the case of an old woman burned to death in Gia Lai

On the evening of September 23, speaking with a reporter from SGGP Newspaper, a leader of Vinh Thinh Commune (Gia Lai Province) said that the Commune Police are coordinating with Gia Lai Provincial Police to investigate and clarify the case of an old woman who died from being burned to death in the area.

According to initial information, on the night of September 22, residents of Vinh Truong village (Vinh Thinh commune) discovered that the house of Mrs. HTH (79 years old, living alone) was on fire. When arriving at the scene, residents discovered Mrs. H.'s body burned.

Upon receiving the news, the authorities quickly arrived to organize an investigation into the cause of the incident.

Currently, Vinh Thinh Commune Police have initially reported the incident to the Party Committee, People's Committee and leaders of the Commune Party Committee. The case is being handled and investigated by Gia Lai Provincial Police.

“After the authorities complete the autopsy and initial investigation, Ms. H’s body will be handed over to her family for funeral arrangements. The local government will visit and provide support for Ms. H’s family to properly arrange the funeral,” a leader of Vinh Thinh commune informed.
