In addition, the dispatch emphasized the need to strengthen inspections of cultural and sports facilities, historical and cultural relics and scenic spots. Depending on weather developments, localities are required to proactively suspend recreational, entertainment and tourism activities to ensure safety.
Regarding communication work, press, radio, television and grassroots information agencies are required to regularly update forecast bulletins from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, focusing on disseminating measures to prevent floods, landslides and epidemics caused by flooding.
Local units of the ministry are also required to closely monitor the situation and advise officials and civil servants to limit their movements during the storm. The Construction Investment Project Management Board needs to direct contractors to deploy measures to protect the works and prepare forces and means to respond when necessary.
