Chairwoman of Chi Linh Women's Union received the first Nguyen Thi Dinh award

On the morning of October 8, in Hanoi , the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union organized the first Nguyen Thi Dinh Award ceremony and honored the exemplary Chairwoman of the District Women's Union nationwide in 2024.

Ms. Cao Thi Hang, President of the Chi Linh City Women's Union, is the only union official from Hai Duong among 30 outstanding full-time Women's Union officials nationwide to receive the first Nguyen Thi Dinh Award in 2024, commended by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union.

Ms. Cao Thi Hang (born in 1983) has held the position of President of the Women's Union of Chi Linh City since 2019. She has participated in implementing the projects "Improving product quality, building brands and trademarks of typical agricultural products in the period of 2021-2025", "Promoting the role of supervision and social criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations in the period of 2021-2025".

In 2022, as Chairwoman of the Chi Linh City Women's Union, she directed the local Women's Union to launch a movement to collect construction waste, a part of the work to celebrate the 13th National Women's Congress. As a result, more than 33,000 kg of waste was collected, with a total value of over 200 million VND; mobilizing socialized construction of 63 women's works, including 35 self-managed women's campuses. The activity of collecting waste to build self-managed cultural house campuses has become one of 13 typical works and tasks nationwide, receiving a certificate of merit at the 13th National Women's Congress.

In 2023, the Chi Linh City Women's Union will also host a mass performance and folk dance exchange program to open the Chi Linh - Hai Duong Festival 2023.

From 2019 to 2024, Ms. Cao Thi Hang received 4 certificates of merit from the People's Committee of Hai Duong province for her outstanding achievements at work.

At the program, Hai Duong also had 2 people honored as exemplary district-level Women's Union Chairmen, including Ms. Dao Thi Phuong Thao, Chairwoman of Ninh Giang District Women's Union and Ms. Mai Thi Thu Huong, Chairwoman of Cam Giang District Women's Union.

The Nguyen Thi Dinh Award is a noble award from the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union to full-time officials of the Women's Union at all levels who have made outstanding achievements, have many initiatives and creativity in innovating the content and methods of operation of the union, contributing to the development of the Vietnam Women's Union.
