Here, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province Ho Van Mung requested the localities: Hon Dat, Kien Luong, Hoa Dien to focus on site clearance, well implement compensation, support and resettlement policies for people; ensure site clearance for contractors to complete construction on schedule.
Regarding the Hon Dat - Kien Luong coastal road project, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that contractors must work with a spirit of urgency to strive to complete it by August 19.

Regarding the T3 - Hoa Dien sluice gate project, it is required that sectors and localities focus on doing a good job of dialogue and implementing compensation and site clearance policies with people fully and in accordance with legal regulations, not letting people suffer. The delegation inspected the Public Administration Service Center of Tinh Bien Ward; worked with the Party Committees of wards and communes: Tinh Bien, Thoi Son, Chi Lang, An Cu, Nui Cam. Here, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang Province Ho Van Mung inspected the actual system of machinery and equipment serving the activities of the Public Administration Service Center and directly visited officials, civil servants and people about the situation of public administration services.
Working with the working delegation, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tinh Bien Ward Nguyen Hong Duc said that the operation of the Public Administration Service Center is basically stable; however, most of the machinery and equipment have been installed for many years (reused from old administrative units), so the operation is ineffective and slow. The implementation of administrative procedures on online public services has not been updated in many areas to serve the people.

On this occasion, the wards and communes proposed that the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of An Giang province direct the relevant agencies to soon organize training courses for cadres and civil servants of the Party, government, Fatherland Front , and public employees... because most of these comrades were assigned to new jobs and have not yet mastered and mastered the professional skills and abilities to perform new tasks.
It is recommended that the province continue to support investment funding to gradually replace new machinery and equipment for agencies and units in the ward, especially the public administrative service center, and soon equip public service kiosks to create convenience and speed for the people. Continue to invest in and upgrade the speed of online public service transmission lines to better serve the people.
The communes and wards requested the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the provincial departments, branches and sectors to promptly promote the implementation of plans and projects, creating momentum to accelerate breakthroughs for border localities, so as not to fall behind inland urban areas and provincial capitals.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung highly appreciated the efforts of the wards and communes to overcome the initial difficulties in operation from July 1, 2025, especially promoting the spirit of serving the people; at the same time, he acknowledged the opinions and recommendations of the wards and communes.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Finance to urgently gather the needs for machinery and equipment to equip the public administrative service center, in which machinery and equipment serving the people must be given top priority.
Comrade Ho Van Mung requested localities to complete the organization of the Party and government apparatus according to the 2-level local government model, including promptly promulgating working regulations, completing grassroots party congresses, especially well organizing the party congresses of newly merged communes and wards, in which it is noted that political reports must be carefully prepared, scientific, and close to local realities.
Enhance the initiative, responsibility, dynamism and creativity of cadres and party members, especially in serving the people; request the ward and commune party secretaries to regularly inspect and urge cadres and party members to perform their tasks. Through operation from July 1 to July 15, 2025, the results of receiving and returning results at Giang Thanh Commune Public Administration Service Center had 756 cases coming to contact to carry out administrative procedures. On July 15, 2025 alone, 27 files were received (including 21 online files), and up to now, 254 files have been received (including 102 online files and 14 files received for transfer from before July 1, 2025).
The center returned results for 233 files on time and before the deadline, and 21 files were processed within the prescribed time limit, and guided 269 cases as requested by the people.
