Kinhtedothi - Mr. Truong Quoc Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province was elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.
On the morning of March 3, the Party Executive Committee of Ha Nam province held a conference to elect the position of Provincial Party Secretary for the 2020-2025 term; to disseminate and implement Conclusion 127-KL/TW dated February 28, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on implementing research and proposing to continue to reorganize the apparatus of the political system and to give opinions and policies on a number of socio-economic contents according to their authority.
At the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Lua thoroughly grasped and deployed Document No. 13588-CV/TW dated February 28, 2025 of the Central Party Office announcing the Politburo's opinion on introducing Mr. Truong Quoc Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to be elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee and appointed to join the Party Committee of Military Region 3 for the 2020-2025 term.
After listening to the report of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee on the election of the position of Provincial Party Secretary for the 2020-2025 term, the Provincial Party Committee carried out the election process for the position of Provincial Party Secretary for Mr. Truong Quoc Huy. As a result, Mr. Truong Quoc Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation was elected to hold the position of Provincial Party Secretary for the 2020-2025 term with an absolute number of votes of confidence.
Mr. Truong Quoc Huy was born in 1970; hometown: Lam town, district of Y Yen, Nam Dinh province; professional qualifications: Bachelor of Labor Economics (National Economics University), Master of Economic Management; Political Theory level: advanced.
During his career, Mr. Truong Quoc Huy held the following positions: General Director of Vicem But Son Cement Joint Stock Company; Vice Chairman of Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee; Secretary of Duy Tien District Party Committee; Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee.
Also at the conference, the Provincial Party Executive Committee approved the investment policy for the section in Ha Nam province under the Ha Nam - Nam Dinh expressway project (CT.11), including the elevated expressway section from after the intersection with the 54m planned road of Phu Ly city (about Km2+600) to the end of the intersection with the TD.07 longitudinal axis in the provincial planning (about Km6+00); the policy to allocate the province's capital for the period 2026-2030 to implement the Ha Nam-Nam Dinh expressway project (CT.11).
At the same time, give opinions on the issuance of the Provincial Party Committee's Resolution on adjusting and supplementing a number of contents in Resolution 50-NQ/TU dated December 31, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee on socio-economic development tasks in 2025.
Concluding the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Lua assigned the Provincial Party Committee to lead and direct the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant agencies and units to implement in accordance with regulations. The Provincial Party Committee agreed in principle with the content proposed by the Provincial Party Committee on the issuance of the Provincial Party Committee's Resolution adjusting and supplementing a number of contents in Resolution 50-NQ/TU dated December 31, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee on socio-economic development tasks in 2025, including adjusting 3 targets in Clause 2, Section II of the Resolution including: total product in the province (GRDP - SS 2010 price) reaching 62,009 billion VND (up 10.5% compared to 2024); GRDP per capita reaching 122.71 million VND (up 11.8% compared to 2024); Labor productivity reaches 238.05 million VND/person (up 11.8% compared to 2024).
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also assigned the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee to coordinate with the Provincial Party Committee Office to complete the draft resolution and submit it to the Standing Provincial Party Committee for signing and promulgation.
