Chairman of O Lam Commune People's Committee visited and encouraged young people admitted to military universities

On September 3, Chairman of the People's Committee of O Lam commune (An Giang province) Phan Thanh Luong visited and presented gifts to congratulate two young men who had just been admitted to two universities under the Vietnam People's Army system.

Specifically, Chairman of the People's Committee of O Lam Commune Phan Thanh Luong visited the family of Chau Soc Ni (born in 2006), residing in Sa Lon hamlet, who was admitted to the Political Officer School (Hanoi) and Trinh Van Thoai (born in 2006), residing in An Nhon hamlet, who was admitted to the Armored Officer School (Phu Tho).

Chairman of the People's Committee of O Lam Commune, Phan Thanh Luong, kindly inquired about the family's life; at the same time, expressed joy and pride in the results the students had achieved. Thereby, he hoped that the two students would promote the tradition of the heroic homeland of O Lam, continue to strive to study and train to become exemplary officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army, contributing to building and protecting the Fatherland.
