Join hands to build a green Binh Hung Hoa ward

On September 20, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Hung Hoa Ward (HCMC) organized a launching ceremony of the movement "Joining hands to build a green Binh Hung Hoa Ward, period 2025-2030".

This is a practical activity to concretize the Resolution of the 1st Ward Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030. At the same time, it responds to the major policies and movements of Ho Chi Minh City on building a green, clean, beautiful, civilized and humane urban area.

Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council Nguyen Viet Que Son and the ward staff launched the movement.

Binh Hung Hoa Ward is a densely populated ward with more than 180,000 people living, studying and working. Along with the strong socio -economic development, the ward is facing many challenges such as inadequate urban environment, waste, canal pollution, noise, illegal advertising, and low awareness of environmental sanitation laws among some people.

Faced with that reality, the leader of Binh Hung Hoa ward said that implementing the movement "Join hands to build a green Binh Hung Hoa ward" is very necessary, with profound political , social and humanistic significance.

The movement was launched to contribute to building Binh Hung Hoa ward into a locality with good quality of life, green - clean - beautiful - safe environment, associated with building Ho Chi Minh cultural space, improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people.

In order for the movement to go deeper, be effective and sustainable, the leaders of Binh Hung Hoa ward called on the entire political system and people of the ward to work together to carry out 6 specific and practical tasks: Dispose of garbage in the right place, classify garbage at source; do not litter, waste water on the streets, canals; keep clean in front of the house, alley, where you live; do not hang advertisements, advertise illegally; do not make noise, do not encroach on the sidewalk; actively participate in Green Sunday, plant trees, mobilize family, friends, neighbors to respond.
