Da Nang Club officially launched with the participation of Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thy - Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee and leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The event also had the presence of representatives of departments and branches of Da Nang City along with the collective leadership, coaches and players of the Han River football team.

In the 2024-2025 season, Da Nang FC played so poorly that they had to continuously change coaches to save the situation. From coach Truong Viet Hoang to Christiano Roland and finally coach Le Duc Tuan, it was not until the final rounds that they found a ticket to the play-off instead of being directly relegated. Before the new season, the Song Han football team participated in the Thien Long Tournament - Thai Group Cup 2025 training tournament in Tam Ky and had quality matches to test the squad and select personnel against quality opponents such as HAGL, Ninh Binh FC and Korean Students.

In terms of personnel, Da Nang FC almost "changed blood" of foreign players. The team said goodbye to striker Thiago Henrique, only keeping midfielder Emerson Souza. Meanwhile, former HAGL midfielder Kim Dong Su arrived at the Han River after the Thien Long tournament, while midfielder Gustavo Santos and striker duo Milan Makaric and Henen David Boris were recently recruited by Da Nang FC.

Regarding the domestic force, after Ha Minh Tuan retired, the Han River team said goodbye to a series of players. Instead, coach Le Duc Tuan added many young faces such as Vu Van Son, Tran Ngoc Son (from PVF), Nguyen Duy Thang (from Ho Chi Minh City Club). In addition, Da Nang Club also got the signatures of defenders Nguyen Duy Duong, Tran Ngoc Hiep and midfielders Le Vu Quoc Nhat, Vo Van Toan from Quang Nam Club. Notably, the Vietnamese-American player born in 2005, Nguyen Vadim, came from Russia to join the Han River team.

Speaking at the departure ceremony, Head Coach Le Duc Tuan said: "Da Nang Club restructured the squad, carefully evaluated each position to add suitable personnel; selected and signed contracts with many quality players, including foreign players as well as young and eager domestic players to combine with the existing experienced players. The whole team has spent nearly 2 months training, assembling tactics, and playing friendly matches to enter the season in the best form."
