44-second clip captures terrifying scene of car going the wrong way on Phan Thiet highway

(NLDO) - A black car suddenly drove in the wrong direction on the Phan Thiet-Dau Giay highway, scaring the drivers of other vehicles.

On March 9, the Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 under Department 6 of the Traffic Police Department ( Ministry of Public Security ) learned of a case of a car driver driving in the wrong direction on the Phan Thiet-Dau Giay Expressway. The authorities are currently identifying the driver and contacting him to invite him to come in for questioning and handling.

Dashcam records car going the wrong way on highway ramp

On the same day, a clip was spread on Facebook showing a black car driving in the wrong direction on the highway.

Initial investigation determined that the incident occurred at around 10:00 a.m. on March 8, and was recorded by a dashcam on a car traveling on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway, from Binh Thuan province to Dong Nai.

The car going in the opposite direction also flashed its lights to warn other cars.

Specifically, when they were near the end of the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway (Song Nhan commune, Cam My district, Dong Nai province), they suddenly saw a driver driving a car in the wrong direction on the highway ramp, heading towards Binh Thuan province. At this time, the driver also flashed his lights to signal the cars going in the right direction to warn them.

The incident startled drivers on the road because the vehicles were moving at high speed on the highway, potentially dangerous when going in the opposite direction.
