Con Dao reduces service prices by up to 30% to attract visitors at the end of the year

Hotels in Con Dao offer 10-30% discounts for room bookings, travel and sightseeing incentives, to attract more visitors to the island during the low season.

The Head of the Con Dao National Tourist Area Management Board said that in order to extend the length of stay, increase room capacity and revenue during the low tourist season, the district has announced preferential packages on room rates, train tickets and event and festival schedules from now until early 2025.

Many hotels on the island are offering discounts of 10 to 30% on all room types. In addition, some accommodations are also offering vouchers for car booking services and accompanying tour guides. Regarding transportation, the high-speed ferry company on the Tran De - Con Dao route is also offering a discount of 45,000 VND on tickets, expected to last until the end of 2024.

Accommodation facilities in Con Dao also apply QR code scanning to reduce prices by 5-10% for relatives and friends of loyal customers, to attract potential customers.

From October to March every year is the monsoon season and also the low tourist season in Con Dao. This time of year has a lot of rain, big waves so not many visitors come. Representatives of the Con Dao National Tourism Management Board hope that the preferential and discount solutions will contribute to increasing local tourism revenue at the end of the year.
