Lien Chieu Ward Police gave 60 gifts to poor students.

DNO - On the afternoon of August 17, Lien Chieu Ward Police organized the program "Steps to School", exchanging and giving 60 gifts, totaling 30 million VND, to students in difficult circumstances in the area.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Thanh, Chief of Lien Chieu Ward Police, said that, in carrying out a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (2005 - 2025), the unit has deployed many practical programs, linking the task of maintaining security and order with social security work, taking care of people's lives.

To make the program effective, the Ward Police launched and mobilized officers, soldiers, units, and donors to join hands to motivate and share difficulties with poor students in the area. The gifts given not only have the meaning of material support but also are a source of spiritual encouragement, helping the students to be more confident in the new school year 2025 - 2026.

According to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Thanh, the program is a testament to sharing, community cohesion and responsibility towards future generations, while also contributing to portraying the image of a People's Public Security soldier who is dedicated to serving the people and closely connected with social life.
