- Donated 350 bicycles and 35,000 notebooks to students in difficult circumstances
Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan and leaders of Ca Mau Provincial Department of Education and Training welcomed the delegation of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.
During the program, Venerable Thich Phuoc Nguyen presented 20,000 notebooks to students across the province through the leaders of the Department of Education and Training, and also presented 5,000 notebooks directly to students of Thanh Tung commune . This is a meaningful gift for students in difficult circumstances who make an effort to go to school every day in remote areas.
Most Venerable Thich Phuoc Nguyen and Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong presented 20,000 notebooks to students of Ca Mau province through representatives of the Department of Education and Training, and also presented 5,000 notebooks directly to students of Thanh Tung commune.
As a son of Ca Mau, the Venerable always follows and understands the difficulties that the local education sector is facing, paying special attention to the education of children in remote communes and children of poor families. In the coming time, the Venerable will continue to mobilize donors to give more gifts and scholarships to support needy children.
Venerable Thich Phuoc Nguyen emphasized that he will strive to implement more programs and mobilize support from benefactors to continue to support his homeland Ca Mau in the coming time.
