Truong Sa District Trade Union held a congress for the 2023-2028 term

According to the report at the congress, in the past term (2018-2023), Truong Sa District Trade Union promptly grasped and resolved the ideological situation, work, life and aspirations of union members.

At the same time, trade unions at all levels have done a good job of coordinating with agencies and units to organize inspections and monitor the implementation of policies and laws related to the rights and obligations of workers.

Caring for workers' lives has always been given attention through the programs "Happy Tet"; "Spring on the distant islands"... contributing to encouraging cadres, civil servants and workers in the whole district to work with peace of mind, firmly protecting the sovereignty of the Truong Sa archipelago of the Fatherland.

During the term, 6 collectives and 10 union members of the district were awarded certificates of merit by the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor and the People's Committee of Truong Sa district.

With the motto "Innovation, democracy, solidarity, responsibility", for the 2023-2028 term, Truong Sa District Trade Union identified 7 tasks.

In particular, focusing on strengthening propaganda and education work, contributing to building a team of cadres and union members with strong political will, professional and political qualifications to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation; having a scientific working style, ethics, and a healthy lifestyle;

In addition, it is necessary to do a good job of mobilizing cadres and union members to actively study and improve their academic qualifications and professional skills; strive for 100% of outstanding union members to be admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam; 100% of female union members to be recognized as excellent women; every year, 100% of grassroots unions successfully complete their tasks.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the District Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term and the delegation to attend the 11th Congress of Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, term 2023-2028.
