Thanh Hoa Trade Union excellently leads the emulation movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities in 2024

On December 23, the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to review the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ) and trade union activities in 2024; directions and tasks for 2025. In 2024, trade unions at all levels in the province closely coordinated with the government, departments, branches, and organizations at the same level, being creative and flexible in propaganda, mobilization, taking care of people's lives, organizing patriotic emulation movements to create breakthroughs in implementing the goals and tasks of trade union organizations, making an important contribution to implementing the goals and tasks of socio -economic development in the province.

The Provincial Federation of Labor completed and exceeded 32/32 set targets (17 targets exceeded the plan); completed and exceeded 12/12 targets assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (11 targets exceeded the plan).

The work of caring for union members and employees has been implemented promptly, practically and effectively; the care activities are diverse and have many innovations. In 2024, trade unions at all levels of agencies, units and enterprises organized visits and gave gifts to 340,074 union members and employees with a total amount of 318.1 billion VND (an increase of 95.6 billion VND compared to 2023). Trade unions at all levels signed new cooperation agreements with 132 partners to implement the "Welfare for union members and employees" program, with 605,527 union members and employees enjoying the preferential amount of 14.52 billion VND.

The work of developing union members, establishing grassroots unions and building strong grassroots unions exceeded the target set by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with 143 grassroots unions (including 97 grassroots unions and 46 grassroots trade unions), and developing 38,251 new union members.

In addition, the patriotic emulation movement among workers and employees was effectively organized and implemented by trade unions at all levels, attracting a large number of cadres, union members, and workers to actively respond and participate in "Pioneering workers, civil servants, and laborers to realize the aspiration to build a civilized and prosperous Thanh Hoa homeland"; "Good workers, creative workers"... As a result of the emulation movements organized by trade unions, many collectives and individuals with good and outstanding models and initiatives were awarded at all levels. The whole province has 9,135 initiatives recognized with a value of 1,520 million VND and 151 works and products recognized with a value of 8,264 million VND.

With outstanding results, Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for its outstanding achievements in developing union members, establishing grassroots unions in 2024 and the Emulation Flag for the excellent unit leading the emulation movement of workers and union activities in 2024.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and approving tasks and solutions to implement the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities in 2025. Accordingly, trade unions at all levels will well implement the 2025 theme "Focus on developing union members; participating in building a clean and strong Party"; strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of regimes and policies for workers; continue to promote emulation movements, promote initiatives, improve techniques, improve labor productivity to welcome Party Congresses at all levels; focus on caring for and protecting the legitimate rights of workers; promote social activities to contribute to supporting and helping union members and workers in difficult circumstances...

Many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the labor movement and trade union activities in 2024 were awarded Emulation Flags and Certificates of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Provincial Labor Federation.
