On September 29, in Hanoi , the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union held a ceremony to honor students who won national and international prizes in the 2023-2024 school year.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union; Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, President of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union; Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union , President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Students' Association.
Also attending were representatives of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union and representatives of trade unions affiliated with the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union.

Speaking at the Commendation Ceremony, comrade Ngo Duy Hieu said that commending excellent students who have won national and international prizes has become a regular activity of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, aiming to honor the children of officials, union members and workers in the whole bloc.
According to him, in the 2023-2024 school year, thousands of children of civil servants, public employees, and workers under the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union overcame difficulties, excelled in their studies, actively participated, and won high prizes in excellent student competitions at the provincial, city, national, and international levels.
There were 1,380 students winning national and international prizes in the fields of nature, society, culture, arts, sports , etc. Of which: 345 students won First Prize, Gold Medal; 365 students won Second Prize, Silver Medal; 515 students won Third Prize, Bronze Medal and 155 students won Encouragement Prize.

"The students have shown excellent achievements in all aspects, from professional exams to sports activities, debates and many other competitions," comrade Ngo Duy Hieu emphasized.
He said that the above remarkable results demonstrated the students' persistent efforts and were also the result of their parents' comprehensive care.
Sending his warmest congratulations, the Chairman of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union expressed his hope that the students will continue to strive in the following school years; and hoped that parents would spend more time and effort taking care of their children to become good children, good students and useful citizens in the future.

At the Commendation Ceremony, the students were presented with laurel wreaths, letters of commendation from the Chairman of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, and a gift of a symbol of honor and a bonus for each winning student by the leaders of the central departments, ministries, branches and organizations; leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and leaders of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union.
The ceremony to honor students who won national and international prizes in the 2023-2024 school year is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the deep concern of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union for students who are children of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers at all levels of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, the future generation of the country. Thereby, it adds motivation for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to feel secure in their work, and strive to complete well the assigned tasks at agencies and units.
