Billionaire Long's company supplies 10,000 tons of steel to the largest project in Southeast Asia.

Billionaire Tran Dinh Long's group plans to supply about 10,000 tons of steel to the National Exhibition Center project invested by Vingroup .

Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company (stock code: HPG) said it has just supplied large-sized steel pipes to the National Exhibition Fair Center project in Dong Anh, Hanoi. The total volume of Hoa Phat steel pipes supplied to the project is about 10,000 tons. This project is invested by Vingroup (stock code: VIC), started construction in August and is expected to be completed in July 2025. With a total scale of up to 90 hectares, the National Exhibition Fair Center is expected to become the largest exhibition center in Southeast Asia, the 5th largest in Asia and in the top 10 in the world. This location is expected to be the venue for major trade events and exhibitions in Vietnam and around the world.

On the stock market, Hoa Phat's HPG shares closed the week at 27,200 VND, down 1.45% compared to the end of last week. Vingroup's VIC shares also decreased by 2.51%, with the market price falling to 40,800 VND/share. Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong and Mr. Tran Dinh Long are both USD billionaires in Vietnam. According to Forbes statistics, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong's assets are worth 4.1 billion USD while Mr. Tran Dinh Long's assets are valued at 2.4 billion USD.
