On the social network accounts X of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and Southeast Asia (AFF), both posted congratulations to U.23 Vietnam: "Congratulations U23 Vietnam! You have officially won the 2025 U.23 Southeast Asia Championship. This is the third consecutive championship title, very amazing for the young "Golden Star Warriors" at this tournament. A historic hat trick to dominate Southeast Asian football!".

Meanwhile, the Indonesian press also acknowledged the bravery of the visiting U.23 Vietnam team when they played very bravely in a tight, fierce match, with many collisions and many controversies both on and off the field. The young Vietnamese players kept a cool head to successfully defend their achievements and deservedly won the championship right at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
