From now until the end of the year is the time when people's demand for goods increases sharply. This is also the time when smuggling, trade fraud (BLGLTM), and counterfeit goods are becoming more complicated. In particular, taking advantage of the impact of storm No. 3, some businesses have hoarded goods, creating a shortage of goods to raise prices and illegally profit. Clearly identifying the local situation, the Provincial Market Management Department has been implementing synchronous solutions to control the market. Thereby, resolutely not allowing the formation of "hot spots" in the locality in the last months of the year.

In recent months, the Market Management force has handled many cases of business and trade of goods that violate regulations. Notably, on August 20, Market Management Team No. 1 conducted an inspection and discovered that LHA business household (Hong Hai ward, Ha Long city) was selling 229 fashion products (nightwear, women's T-shirts, handbags, belts, sandals, fashion glasses) with fake trademarks and 270 smuggled moon cakes with a total value of nearly 70 million VND.
Then, on August 21, Market Management Team No. 1 inspected the BVD business household (Quang Chinh commune, Hai Ha district) and discovered and temporarily detained 23 solar battery packaging with signs of counterfeiting trademarks, with a value of 67 million VND. On August 22, Market Management Team No. 1 inspected and discovered that XT Eyeglasses Store (Quang Trung ward, Uong Bi city) was selling 95 fashion glasses with signs of counterfeiting trademarks, with a value of about 92 million VND. Market Management Team No. 1 temporarily detained all of the above goods to be punished according to the provisions of law.

To maintain market stability in the last months of the year, the Provincial Market Management Department has promptly developed a plan to direct Market Management teams to simultaneously inspect production facilities, warehouses, goods gathering points, traditional markets... in the province.
The provincial Market Management Department also requested its subordinate Market Management teams to proactively coordinate with localities to strengthen market inspection and control to promptly detect and strictly handle illegal trade practices. The inspection and control process is combined with propaganda to raise awareness for organizations and individuals in complying with regulations on production and commercial business.
Implementing the direction of the Provincial Market Management Department, the Market Management teams in the province have proactively grasped information and the local situation. On that basis, they have proactively advised superiors on solutions to deal with new methods and tricks of violators; especially smuggling and commercial fraud on cyberspace. Thereby, contributing to market control and protecting consumer rights.
Based on the assigned functions and tasks, the Market Management Teams have strengthened the inspection and control of production and business establishments, warehouses, yards, goods gathering points, commercial centers, markets... in the areas under their management. Thereby, promptly detecting, preventing and strictly handling acts of production, trading and transporting prohibited goods, counterfeit goods and poor quality goods.
Notably, implementing the direction of the Provincial Market Management Department on strengthening solutions to stabilize the market after storm No. 3, on September 10, Market Management Team No. 5 presided over and coordinated with Ha Long City Police to inspect and handle Chung Huyen electronics business household (Bach Dang Ward, Ha Long City) for not posting product prices and trading imported generators without additional labels, and was fined 12 million VND.
According to the forecast of the Provincial Market Management Department, from now until the end of the year, the situation of counterfeit goods, fake goods and illegal transportation of goods in the province will continue to be complicated due to the high demand for consumer goods, especially food, foodstuffs, gasoline, essential goods and goods for repairing construction works after storm No. 3. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung, Director of the Provincial Market Management Department, said: To maintain market stability in the last months of the year, the Provincial Market Management Department has soon developed a plan and directed the Market Management teams to strengthen their grip on the area to promptly detect and advise superiors at all levels to handle arising problems. The unit has also proactively coordinated with sectors, localities and units to inspect and strictly handle violations related to commercial business activities.
