'Miss Successful Businesswoman' contest fined 55 million VND

The organizer of "Miss Successful Businesswoman Global" was fined 55 million VND for holding illegal contests.

A representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports said that they would administratively fine the organizer - Eastern Secret Investment and Entertainment Joint Stock Company, whose representative is Mr. Bien Truong Giang, born in 1977. According to the management agency, when holding the contest in April and May, the organizer did not have a license from the Department of Culture and Sports. Therefore, it violated the provisions of Clause 5, Article 12 of Decree No. 38/2021 on the field of culture and advertising.

The Miss Global Success Business contest, whose English name is Ms. Global Success Business 2023, held a casting in March and called for votes on the Fanpage in April. On the program's website, the event is introduced for the purpose of music exchange and fashion show of female entrepreneurs.
