On the morning of September 30, at Do Son Stadium, Hai Phong City, the festival Do Son buffalo fighting 2025 has officially opened.

From early morning, tens of thousands of people and tourists from all over the provinces and cities were present to wait for the dramatic matches of the buffalo fighting festival. Do Son - National intangible cultural heritage.

After the solemn and brief opening ceremony, the 16 "buffaloes" began to compete.

After 8 rounds, the winning "buffaloes" continued to enter the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.

After 14 exciting matches, some lasting tens of minutes, exhausting the "buffaloes", finally buffalo number 06 of artist Dinh Dinh Phu and buffalo number 07 of Mr. Phi Van Hien led each other to the final match.

Both "buffaloes" deserved to enter the final match after giving the audience beautiful performances on their journey to the final match.

Besides, the two "buffaloes" also possess impressive bodies. Buffalo number 07 is 157cm tall, 230cm long, 230cm chest circumference, 37cm horn height, 85cm horn width; while buffalo number 06 is 144cm tall, 228cm long, 228cm chest circumference, 38cm horn height, 68cm horn width.

The final match was dramatic and exciting with the two "buffaloes" fighting each other. Buffalo No. 07 took the initiative to attack buffalo No. 06. However, buffalo No. 06 quickly neutralized the attack.

Then the two "buffaloes" returned the favor with tricky tackles. Buffalo number 06 used the tackle to make buffalo 07 fall down on the ground.

After 4 minutes and 30 seconds of competition, "buffalo" number 06 of artist Dinh Dinh Phu won the championship. "buffalo" number 07 of Mr. Phi Van Hien won second prize.

Two "buffaloes" number 14 of Mr. Nguyen Van Nam and number 04 of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung shared third prize.

At the festival, the organizing committee awarded the first prize worth 100 million VND to buffalo number 06; the second prize worth 70 million VND to buffalo number 07 and two third prizes worth 30 million VND to buffalo numbers 04 and 14.

In addition, the organizers also awarded the best buffalo fighting pair prize to two "buffaloes" 07 and 01; the prize for the buffalo with the best fighting move went to buffalo 14 of Mr. Nguyen Van Nam.
