Da Nang and Binh Duong are tied at the bottom of the V-League table.

Da Nang took an early lead over Da Nang, but Binh Duong still ended the match with a 1-1 result in round 11 of V-League 2023.

The "reverse final" at Hoa Xuan Stadium was only exciting in the first half when both teams were determined to find their first win of the season. However, the weakness and lack of luck of both teams' players still did not help them find the joy of winning the match.

Da Nang has just changed coach but has not been able to change their fortunes. Meanwhile, Binh Duong has shown signs of improvement, but has drawn its fourth consecutive match under Le Huynh Duc with the same score of 1-1. After three consecutive reserve matches, striker Nguyen Tien Linh was chosen by coach Le Huynh Duc to start. However, the mark he left after 45 minutes was a yellow card in the 41st minute for diving to get a penalty. Tien Linh was then withdrawn at the beginning of the second half.

Rimario, despite being embroiled in internal turmoil, played from the start. And this foreign player immediately made his mark in the third minute when he skillfully controlled the ball in the penalty area and then crossed for Doan Hai Quan to easily tap the ball into Da Nang's net to open the score.

Da Nang welcomed new coach Pham Minh Duc to replace Phan Thanh Hung in this match. The new head coach's use of players and playing style did not change, but the home players played more actively compared to the 1-5 defeat against TP HCM in round 10. However, they also suffered an early loss when foreign player Rodrigo was injured and left the field in the 14th minute, replaced by Ha Minh Tuan.

It took the Han River team nearly 30 minutes to gradually get into the rhythm of the match. The small coordination between Minh Tam, Phan Van Long and Ha Minh Tuan became rhythmic. In the 33rd minute, they created the first dangerous opportunity when they penetrated the away team's goal but were blocked by goalkeeper Tran Minh Toan. The Da Nang players then demanded a penalty because they thought Minh Toan committed a foul in the penalty area, but Malaysian referee Nasaruddin waved his hand away.

However, Da Nang players did not have to wait long to equalize. In the corner kick situation after that, Phan Van Long crossed the ball accurately for Ha Minh Tuan to head the ball into Binh Duong's net to equalize the score in the 36th minute.

Da Nang started the game better after the break. In the 54th minute, Phi Hoang crossed the ball from the left wing into the penalty area, which was right for Ha Minh Tuan to head, but Binh Duong defenders intervened in time. 10 minutes later, Binh Duong responded when Hai Quan hung the ball accurately, but Rimario headed it wide while unmarked.

Despite having good possession and creating many chances, Da Nang lacked the sharpness to score more goals. Van Long and Dinh Duy's shots were not accurate. Binh Duong also did not create many chances, in which they scored once but were denied because Hoang Phuong used his hand to play the ball.

In the final minute of the match, the home team counterattacked quickly but Giang Tran Quach Tan missed the post from 5 meters away, missing the opportunity to bring Da Nang their first win of the season. They are therefore still at the bottom of the table with six points, one point behind Binh Duong.
