
Specifically, the People's Committees of Hoa Cuong, Thanh Khe, Hai Chau, Ngu Hanh Son wards... decided to let preschoolers, primary and secondary school students take a day off on October 22. Vocational training institutions and private universities are allowed to proactively decide on their study plans based on the actual situation.
School principals are required to proactively assign staff to be on duty and ready to handle any situations that may arise due to storms. The University of Economics – Danang University also announced that all classes on October 22 would be switched to online learning.

On the same day, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City issued a document requesting the Inland Waterways Port Authority to coordinate with port and inland waterway management and operation units to urgently deploy plans to prevent and combat storms and floods; and at the same time, raise the span of Nguyen Van Troi Bridge to facilitate the relocation of ships and boats.

Accordingly, all cruise ships anchored at Han River Port and CT15 Inland Waterway Terminal must move to safe shelters before 3:00 p.m. on October 21 to ensure absolute safety for people and vehicles.

The Department also requires tourism businesses and ship owners to closely monitor weather information, strictly follow the instructions of authorities and absolutely not stay or anchor in the Nguyen Van Troi bridge area during the bridge raising period.
