Da Nang: Candidate suspended for bringing cell phone into history exam room

(NLDO) - On the morning of June 27, the high school graduation exam according to the 2018 General Education program in Da Nang ended after the exam session of natural and social subjects.

There are 30 examination sites in Da Nang City, and the organization is assessed to have gone smoothly and in accordance with regulations. Most candidates strictly followed the examination room regulations.

There was only one recorded violation of bringing a cell phone into the history exam room, which resulted in a report being made and suspension from the exam according to regulations. A visually impaired candidate was arranged a separate exam room, with support and supervision according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.

According to the Examination Council, the examination supervision was carried out seriously, no staff violated the regulations, and no unusual incidents related to the exam questions occurred. The Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City assessed that this year's exam was successful, safe, and ensured compliance with professional requirements and exam organization procedures.

On the same afternoon, candidates studying under the 2006 Program continued to take the final exam - foreign language - at the Nguyen Thien Thuat Secondary School testing site, multiple choice format, test time 60 minutes.

According to the test sites, candidates assessed that this year's exam followed the curriculum closely and had clear differentiation. Tran Duc Duy Anh (Phan Chau Trinh High School) said that the physics exam was quite long and he was a bit worried when he received the exam, but after reading it carefully, he found the types of questions familiar.

With careful preparation, candidates can achieve high scores. However, Duy Anh assessed that the English reading comprehension section was long and difficult, with many new words, making it impossible for him to complete this section.

Sharing the same opinion, Pham Tran Minh Thu (also from Phan Chau Trinh High School) commented that the English test consists of 4 reading passages and 5 organized questions, requiring quick reading and processing time. If you do not practice the test regularly, it will be difficult to get a high score. Minh Thu predicted that she would get about 8 points in this subject.

Meanwhile, Tran Nguyen Tuan Hung (Quang Trung High School) completed all 6 short answers in physics and was confident that he would get between 8 and 8.5 points. However, for English, Hung only hoped for an average score.
