The body of a child swept away by floodwaters in Ban Vuoc commune has been found.

After 5 days of searching, on the afternoon of June 10, the authorities found the body of Ly Hoai N. (born in 2022) on the Red River, in Van Ban district.

On the afternoon of June 10, Mr. Vu Van Thanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ban Vuoc Commune, Bat Xat District, informed reporters: At 3:30 p.m. the same day, the search team found the body of Ly Hoai N. (born in 2022) who was swept away by the flood. The location where Ly Hoai N.'s body was found is on the Red River, flowing through U Soc village, Tan Thuong commune, Van Ban district.

Bat Xat district search and rescue forces continue to search for the body of Ly Thi Ngh.

Currently, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Bat Xat district continues to mobilize human resources to continue searching for the body of Ms. Ly Thi Ngh.

As reported by Lao Cai Newspaper, at 6:00 a.m. on June 5, when Ms. Ly Thi Ngh. (born in 1994) and a boy named Ly Hoai N. (born in 2022) were in the fish pond watching shack in Hamlet 1, Ban Vuoc Commune, Bat Xat District, a flash flood suddenly swept them away and they went missing. Immediately after the incident, the village notified the local authorities to deploy forces to search for the person swept away by the flood.
