
At General Hospital No. 1, after listening to the hospital leaders report on the disaster prevention and search and rescue plan, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the spirit, responsibility and initiative of the unit.
He emphasized that, in the face of the complex developments of natural disasters, the hospital needs to specify plans for transporting patients, arrange canoes and transport vehicles, and clearly assign responsibilities to each person; organize emergency care at facility 2; arrange ambulances at different locations; and strengthen connections and coordination with hospitals in the area such as Yen Binh.
Regarding facilities, he requested the hospital to fully prepare reserves of gasoline, food, medicine, chemicals, medical supplies, especially focusing on the medicine warehouse; at the same time, arrange a force on duty 24/7, ready to support lower-level hospitals.


On this occasion, he visited and encouraged two patients injured by storm No. 10 who are being treated at the hospital.

Immediately afterwards, comrade Vu Thi Hien Hanh visited and encouraged the staff, doctors and nurses of Viet Hong Commune Health Station - a unit that suffered heavy damage after the circulation of storm No. 10. She expressed her deep sympathy for the difficulties of the medical staff here, and at the same time acknowledged the efforts of the team in maintaining medical examination and treatment in difficult and deprived conditions.

Here, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed the Department of Health to support generators, mobilize medical staff, and support medical examination and treatment at the station. At the same time, he also requested the Provincial Military Command to immediately arrange forces to coordinate with local authorities tonight (September 30) to quickly overcome the consequences and repair damaged facilities.





He stressed the need to quickly stabilize medical examination and treatment conditions to ensure people have continuous, uninterrupted access to medical services. This is an important task, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the health sector and local authorities.
